I've always shied away from contracts whenever possible. After all, if a company offers service that is excellent, customers will stick with that company, even without a contract, right?
I can think of some customers that got started with HomeLife Housekeeping way back in 1990 (when I looked way younger than I do today) who have had our housecleaning service about every month since. That's over two decades of loyalty that we appreciate very much. There are a number of others we have been serving since the 90's as well. Some weekly, some biweekly, some monthly. We do not take the loyalty of these valued customers for granted. We realize that "there are many choices out there", as Southwest Airlines reminds us every time we fly on one of their jets. Good companies must constantly endeavor to be great companies and give excellent service on a consistent basis if they want to stay in business. Besides that, it contributes to a good night's sleep!
