Got Sparkle?

Over time, the crystals on your chandelier gather dust and lose their sparkle. Here's a simple way to bring back the shine.

Cover the floor or table under the chandelier with newspaper or plastic, and set up a ladder so you can easily reach the pendants. Mix together 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol and 3/4 cup water in a plastic cup. Submerge each of the crystals in the solution for a few seconds, swishing them back and forth. Then let them dry. If they were more than lightly soiled, you may need to rub each one with a soft cloth to get them clean. If not, you can just dip, swish and allow to air dry.
